Anthony Garcia joined The McDonald College in Year 4 and graduated in 2018, before going on to study at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). He was performing professionally long before then. At 11 he played Jeremy Potts in the Australian production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and followed that with Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family and Jason in Falsettos.

His adult career spans stage and international touring. He has played Chino in Opera Australia’s production of West Side Story, touring Australia, Germany, and New Zealand, Juan in Altar Boyz at the Subiaco Arts Centre, and Duke Mahoney in Nice Work If You Can Get It. Ensemble credits include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale, Sweet Charity, Saturday Night Fever, and Phantom of the Opera.
