Our School’s Earthshot Prize Presentations
This term, our school embraced the spirit of the Earthshot Prize, a global initiative launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation to inspire and reward solutions to the world’s greatest environmental challenges. It is built around five ambitious goals: protecting and restoring nature, cleaning our air, reviving our oceans, building a waste-free world, and fixing our climate.
Inspired by this vision, our students took on the challenge of presenting their own world-changing ideas. The presentations were a showcase of creativity, scientific thinking, and a deep commitment to sustainability.
From protecting fragile ecosystems to reimagining everyday products in eco-friendly ways, the ideas spanned a wide range of issues. Some projects explored marine conservation, others tackled pollution reduction, and there was even a project for the creation of sustainable Labubus.
What stood out most was not just the ingenuity of individual projects, but the collective energy of students working toward a shared goal: imagining a healthier, more sustainable future. The Earthshot framework gave them a powerful lens through which to see their ideas — not as small classroom exercises, but as contributions to a global movement.
